Kendrick Lamar & SZA Reportedly Make History With Their Joint Tour

Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "Grand National Tour" started less than two weeks ago but they've racked up enough revenue to make history.

According to data reported by Touring Data, Kendrick Lamar became the first rapper to earn over $9 million from one concert as a headlining or co-headlining act. K.Dot and SZA launched the tour on April 19 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. with over 47,000 fans in attendance. On that night alone, the "luther" duo brought in over $9.1 million. They brought in even more on the second night at the NRG Stadium in Houston. Their grand total for the show in Texas was over $9.4 million.

Kendrick and SZA defeated the record previously held by Eminem, who earn $9 million from a single show during his tour stop in Melbourne, Australia back in 2019. Their latest accomplishment was spread throughout the Internet ahead of their most recent stop at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. The tour, which features an opening set by Mustard, is set to hit up stadiums in 16 other major cities for the next two months. They will invade places like Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Inglewood and more until they wrap up in Maryland on June 18.

The "Grand National Tour" is expected to head overseas later this summer. Kendrick Lamar and SZA will perform across The U.K. and European countries like Poland, The Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. Their Eurotrip will begin in Germany on July 2 and will continue until the final stop in Sweden on August 9.

Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar and SZA on their latest historic achievement.
