Young Thug is speaking out after prosecutors requested the rapper's probation be revoked.

According to a report Billboard published on Wednesday, April 2, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office filed a motion for Judge Paige Reese Whitaker to end Thugger's probation after they alleged his "continued presence in the community under probationary supervision presents a clear and present danger to public safety and undermines the rule of law.” They also accused him of “escalating threats and witness intimidation" after he reportedly reposted (and later deleted) an image of Fulton County Investigator Marissa Viverito earlier this week after she testified in a “multi-defendant gang murder preliminary hearing."

“Marissa Viverito is the biggest liar in the DA’s office," the caption allegedly said.

Viverito participated in a hearing in which a judge issued an order against showing witnesses on camera during the proceedings. Unfortunately, someone on social media found a photo of Viverito and shared it on X. "She doesn’t want to be shown on screen? Well, here she is," the person wrote in the caption. The post "quickly went viral" and garnered over 2 million views. Soon after the post spread, Viverito, her family and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis reportedly received threats.

“I don’t make treats to people I’m a good person," Young Thug said in a statement he shared on X. "I would never condone anyone threatening anyone or definitely participate in threatening anyone. I’m all about peace and love.”

Young Thug, born Jeffrey Williams, accepted a plea deal last October that resulted in his release. He was sentenced to 40 years in prison with five years commuted to time served. He was also given 15 years probation, with an additional 20 years to be commuted if he completed everything without any issues. Williams hadn't violated the terms of his probation before the latest motion was filed.
