Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will practice on Wednesday (January 8) ahead of the team's NFC Wild Card Round game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday (January 12), head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters.

"He'll be out there today," Sirianni said of Hurts via NFL.com. "We'll get you the injury report after practice. We'll see how it goes, but we'll get you the injury report after practice today."

Hurts hasn't played since suffering a concussion during the Eagles' Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders. The former Pro Bowler took a shot to the head while attempting to dive.

Hurts was replaced by backup quarterback Kenny Pickett, who threw for 143 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 14 of 24 passing during the Week 16 loss. Pickett went on to start the following week and threw for 143 yards and one touchdown on 10 of 15 passing before suffering his own rib injury in a Week 17 win against the NFC East Division rival Dallas Cowboys.

Rookie Tanner McKie replaced Pickett and threw for 54 yards and two touchdowns on 3 of 4 passing in Week 17 and started for the Eagles in their final regular season game, throwing for 269 yards and two touchdowns on 27 of 41 passing in a win against the NFC East Division rival New York Giants.

Hurts threw for 2,903 yards, 18 touchdowns and five interceptions on 248 on 361 passing and recorded 630 yards and 14 touchdowns on 150 rushing attempts, while leading the Eagles to a 12-3 record.
