Tory Lanez is fighting back against claims that he organized an effort to harass and defame Megan Thee Stallion.

In her recent filing, Meg's legal team claimed Lanez and his father coordinated with a team of bloggers including Elizabeth Milagro Cooper. They argued that they have proof of financial records from Lanez's father who allegedly sent Cooper payments totaling $3,000 to make derogatory posts about Meg. According to a report TMZ published on Wednesday, December 18, the imprisoned singer's legal team said the payments in question aren't related to Lanez and argued the truth will be revealed in court.

For the unfamiliar, Megan Thee Stallion previously sued Cooper for allegedly creating a false narrative about the 2020 shooting case and spreading an artificial video that depicted Meg engaged in sexual activity. In her filing from earlier this week, Meg claimed Cooper was part of Lanez's team of bloggers and requested a restraining order against Lanez that would prevent him from harassing and defaming her directly or through third parties like Cooper.

Megan Thee Stallion claimed the ongoing "psychological warfare" has destroyed her life. She experienced extreme depression and felt removed from her inner circle of friends. She's not suicidal, however, she did say that she wishes Lanez "would have shot and killed me, if I would have known I was going to go through this torture."

Tory's team argued that Meg lied and pointed to her Gayle King interview, in which she lied about sleeping with Lanez. They also shot down speculation that Lanez is taking legal action amid the release of her recent Amazon documentary.

"Megan's claim that Tory filed legal docs to undermine her new Amazon Prime documentary is 'ridiculous.,' his attorney said in a statement.

Tory Lanez is currently serving 10 years in prison after he was found guilty of shooting Meg in the feet in 2020. Meg claimed Lanez made up false stories about her to help him appeal his conviction. However, Tory's team denies that claim and said their filings were only made to comply with deadlines.
