Kendrick Lamar and SZA are getting ready to hit the road for a brand-new joint tour.

On Tuesday morning, December 3, the pgLang rapper and the TDE signee announced dates for their "Grand National Tour" presented by Live Nation and Cashapp. The duo will take over 19 stadiums beginning in Minneapolis on April 19, 2025. They will hit up major cities including Atlanta, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and others until the tour wraps up in Washington, D.C. on June 18. An exclusive Cash App Visa Card pre-sale will begin Wednesday, December 4 at 10 a.m. while general sales begin Friday, December 6.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA's joint tour was announced two months before Lamar's headlining performance at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans. Fans celebrated the news about K-Dot's upcoming set, but the announcement instantly faced backlash from loyal fans of Lil Wayne. The Young Money artist said he felt "hurt" when he found out about the news.

Kendrick addressed Wayne's comments on the first song of his surprise album GNX. In "wacced out murals," K-Dot raps, "Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud/Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down." The album also holds songs like "luther" featuring SZA, "tv off" featuring Lefty Gunplay, and more. The album debuted at No. 1 with over 319,000 units sold while seven songs from the project debuted in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100. Meanwhile, SZA's next album is set to drop before the end of the year. It's not clear whether it will be her SOS deluxe or her third studio album Lana. Either way, fans can expect to see both artists perform new music together.
