King Harris, the son of T.I. and Tiny Harris, was apprehended by police this week after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to a report FOX 5 in Atlanta published on Wednesday, October 16, the young artist, born Clifford "King" Harris, Jr. was taken into custody in Dunwoody on Monday. The 20-year-old artist was pulled over in his BMW after he almost hit a police cruiser while leaving a gas station. In the police report, the arresting officer said he smelled marijuana in Harris' car and noticed he had a gun on his hip. Police discovered the warrant while running his information.

“I informed Mr. Harris that I would need to speak with him outside and opened the driver-side door," the officer wrote in his report, per WSB-TV. "Mr. Harris was cooperative, and I removed the firearm from his hip with no issue. I then had Mr. Harris step out of the vehicle and I detained him by placing handcuffs on him. I escorted Mr. Harris to my patrol vehicle, conducted a pat down, and placed him into the rear of my vehicle,” the arresting officer said in the incident report."

King Harris was wanted in Pickens County for failing to appear at a court date in September. The arraignment he missed stemmed from his previous run-in with police in 2022. Harris was charged with speeding, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs. His dad Tip spoke about his son's arrest at the time and predicted he would end up in prison if he kept acting up.

"If he goddamn keep that s**t up, his ass going to prison," he said. "Ain't no way around it, ain't nothing I'mma be able to do about it. Can’t nobody stop him but him, nah mean? 'Cause I know that energy. I was that energy. I know exactly how it's going to turn out."

King Harris was arrested and taken to DeKalb County Jail. He was released to Pickens County the following day, however, the bench warrant was reportedly recalled.
