Pharrell Williams and Tyler, the Creator will reunite for a new song that will appear on the soundtrack to Skateboard P's upcoming biopic.
On Wednesday, October 2, the artists and fashion designer revealed the tracklist for his Piece By Piece soundtrack. The project will feature five brand-new songs including "Virginia Boy" featuring Tyler along with “It’s Happening,” “L’EGO Odyssey,” “For Real,” and the title track “Piece By Piece." The rest of the soundtrack will be a mix of hits Pharrell & The Neptunes produced for artists who appear throughout the film in LEGO form including N.O.R.E.'s "Super Thug," Kendrick Lamar's "Alright," and Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot."
"The Piece By Piece soundtrack is a celebration of my music and friends, featuring tracks both old and new 🙏🏾Which is your favourite?" Pharrell wrote in his caption.
Piece By Piece is a Lego-animated film that follows the life and career of Pharrell Williams from his time in the production group The Neptunes to his new journey as the Men's Creative Director for Louis Vuitton. The film will feature appearances from JAY-Z, Timbaland, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and more. Pharrell released the trailer back in June and premiered the film at the Telluride Film Festival a few weeks ago.
Pharrell's biopic and its soundtrack arrive only in theaters on October 11. Check out the complete tracklist and watch the movie trailer below.
