Snoop Dogg is reportedly in talks to hit the road next year in support of his joint album with Dr. Dre.
Forbes released its interview with the Death Row Records owner and his longtime collaborator on Sunday, September 29. Midway through the story, Snoop and Dre discuss their upcoming project Missionary and share their thoughts about their first body of work together in over 30 years. The album is expected to arrive in December shortly after the anniversary of Snoop's debut album Doggystyle. Forbes also reported that Snoop is also in talks to go on tour in 2025 in support of the album.
“I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve ever done,” Dr. Dre said about the album. “This is going to give him something new to perform onstage, and that’s what I was thinking about while producing this record.”
“Music is my foundation," Snoop added. "That’s the root of who I am, so I can never run away from that. And I feel like one thing about great music and great musicians, they’re timeless.”
It's been a busy year for Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. In addition to finalizing their long-awaited album, they've also been promoting their new alcoholic drink Gin & Juice. The duo formally celebrated the drink's launch after Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas earlier this year. They also closed out the Summer Olympic Games together during the final performance in their hometown of Los Angeles, which will host the Olympics in 2028.
An official release date for Missionary has not been revealed yet and Snoop's tour has not been confirmed. In the meantime, Snoop will stay busy by joining the new season of NBC's "The Voice."
