A slew of rap stars pulled up on Angie Martinez during her annual BBQ in New York City.
The Voice of New York and Power 105.1 held Angie's Summer BBQ on Saturday afternoon, July 13, at Knockdown Center in Queens. Fans had the opportunity to sip on some Dusse cocktails, win $5,000 in the official dominoes tournament, and watch some of their favorite artists perform on the main stage. Maiya The Don, Capella Grey, Lola Brooke, and Connie Diiamond performed their hits during the event. Connie also surprised the crowd by bringing out Remy Ma to perform their hit collaboration "Ghetto & Ratchet."
Angie's BBQ got even more lit once New York-based rap group 41 hit the stage. The drill rappers delivered several of their popular joints for the people until another surprise guest showed up. Singer Normani shocked everyone with her presence. She even blessed the stage with Angie as she busted out some moves to the tune of her song "Wild Side."
The surprises continued when singers like Honey Bxby and stars from Alicia Keys' Broadway musical Hell's Kitchen delivered a couple of songs from the show. Angie's BBQ wrapped up with the main act of the day, Saweetie. The California native arrived at the function and performed several of her stand-out hits like "My Type."
