“She’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met” - Leticia Martinez (aka Natalia’s Mom)

Yup, I paid her to say that! Hey there, first let me say “thank you” for listening to our show and apparently wanting to know a little bit more about me. Yes, Natalia Perez is my God given name! Thanks, Mom! I’m homegrown, born and raised in North Hollywood! I’ve always been really proud to be from “the valley” and my Mexican/Puerto Rican/Irish background! My entire life, I’ve always wanted to be in radio; when I was in the second grade a local radio station came to my elementary school and it was LIFE!! To this day, it is still one of my fondest memories.

So you probably already know that I’m very bubbly and energetic, which I attribute to my six years of cheerleading. I’m always in a good mood unless I haven’t had my coffee (which I’m obsessed with by the way). I’m also horrible at spelling…spell check saved me in college (Go Matadors!).

If I was to draw a parallel, my radio career is just like Drake’s song, “Started from the Bottom.” I started as a member of the street team, became a board operator, producer, and even did over nights and answered request lines. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to work with a legend like Big Boy; joining “the Neighborhood” truly changed my life in the best way possible. I mean…how could you not love your job when you get to speak your mind, laugh and listen to music every day?! Plus I’m obsessed with all things entertainment, whether I’m cooking, working out or trying to get my life in order. I’m always listening to music or watching TV.

When I’m not on the radio, I keep busy covering Hollywood red carpet events and hosting the pre-show for the Los Angeles Dodgers! I’ve been working with my favorite baseball team for four years now and it still trips me out that I get the opportunity to stand on such a historic field, which is both beautiful and kind of squishy!

Someone once compared my relationship with my boyfriend to Beyonce and Jay-Z…that someone was me! Usually the Neighborhood gives me a hard time about being in love but its okay because love is a truly an amazing thing and Louie G is a hater. And that’s just a little bit about me!
